Project idea, Problem/Need & Solution

Let's consider a person who has no idea what the environment around him is doing, he doesn't know the impact of certain actions on the environment, he is also pessimistic about all the damage he observes, and he lacks information about the actions he can take to manage his environment.

We have designed a fun and educational waste management game for young people aged 16 to 26. The game introduces the different stages of waste recycling. It provides all necessary information about waste management processes. It also raises awareness of the possible environmental and biological impacts of waste diversion. This means that no matter what the waste management action is, it will always have an impact on the environment, but this impact can be reduced with the right actions, i.e. by following the course of the game.

The game encourages players to take action, and because there are so many lives to manage, action is better than nothing. Combined with the results obtained by waste conversion, we are able to obtain important components to survive and continue to play.

The message we want to convey by the game:

  1. Doing something is better than doing nothing
  2. Even recycling harms the environment
  3. Potential Implications: Reduced Consumption
